My fiance , whom I have been with for 4 years, and who I loved more tha life. broke up with me in mid-June. I am still shocked from the break-up and she still has not given me a reason why this happened. How long did any of you wait to date after a long term relationship break-up?

A little over a year after my first marriage (of 6 years) broke up.

It all depends on the person. You take as much time as needed. Whether that was 6 months or 3 years. The longest I ever waited was 6 months. I felt I was ready to date after that. You do it when you feel ready.
