Relationship Break Up

What you should know about a relationship break up…

couple picture In a relationship break up, there is usually more than just you and your ex who are affected. Most of the time, your friends are also affected… sometimes they have to choose sides and friendships are lost. If you’re married, your relatives are also affected… more so if you already have children.

Many families today are disfunctional because couples choose the easy way out, rather than trying to mend or try saving marriage or relationship.

Having a clear mind is essential to making the final decision of breaking up or patching up. Couples must always consider every angle of the situation… who’s affected, why the relationship has turned sour, is love still present, is pressure from work or bills the culprit, etc. Being able to identify these factors is necessary if you want to make the right decision.

I believe that relationships should be mended as much as possible… but not necessarily at all costs. If there is physical abuse present then preventing a relationship break up might not be the best thing to do. But no matter what the situation is, it’s your call which route you want to take.

Some have tried to take on the problem head on… in most cases, the attempt will be futile. Without a clear head and a calm disposition, discussing why the relationship ended with your ex will only turn into a heated discussion. A respite is necessary for both of you to clear your heads and analyze the situation carefully.

Once the anger has passed, analyze the situation by thinking of what the relationship was like before the break up… then try to remember how the relationship was like in the beginning. List down the good and awful things that you remember and see if the relationship is beyond repair or not. This period is the most important one of all, as it will serve as your foundation in formulating a plan of action… whether it be to save the marriage / win back ex or to end the relationship.

In any case, bear in mind that the action you are about to take will affect more than just you and your ex. So, I urge you to consider every angle carefully as if your life depended on it. I do hope that you and your ex will finally come to terms and work with each other to prevent the relationship break up.

Breaking up is a hard thing for anyone, especially if it’s a relationship that lasted more than 2 years. Overcoming an ex is easier said than done but getting back with your ex is actually easier than it sounds. For more information on how to get back with your ex visit:
