You’re both fans of totally different teams.
How would you handle it?
Not at all. I figure that a few more stars and she will have to come to grips with the fact that Italy rules and France pales in comparison when they still have 1.
i had that with hockey.
try to take it as you give it. don't be too harsh on her team ect.
one fun thing we did was make bets on the teams then it was something you had to do for the person……my team wins and you rub my feet for 1/2 hour
you buy beer
you wear my team's colors for a day…..
and get interesting take it into the bedroom
you can't let a team break you up if you're not even playing for them References :
No, because I always like debating… what's wrong with another debate about which team is better? =) As long as I admire their personality and who they are, it doesn't matter which team they are a fan of.
Besides, it would depend whether or not the person is involved in football/soccer in the first place. Obviously, it would be preferable if they were a soccer fan, but I'm pretty sure their population is quite small in proportion to the hockey fan population in Canada. =D References :
as long as you're rooting for the same sport. if you love football and she abhors it, then what good is it if you continue the relationship? now as for different teams or clubs, a little competition would probably even spice up your relationship..relax. enjoy the competition. enjoy football References :

No.
If you can break up with someone because of differences at football, it simply means the relationship is not that strong after all.
Besides, it'll be fun to sit together to watch when the teams play, and to goad each other over each other club's fortunes. You'll probably never run out of things to say. References :

Have a friendly rivally. It is okay to be rivals as long as you have a sense of humor about it.
