Have you ever won an ex back or changed your mind about an ex?

I realize that most people who break up with someone stay broken up permanently, but there are always exceptions to that rule.

So, if you’ve ever won them back, how did you do it? Why did you break up in the 1st place? How long were you dating the other person before the 1st break-up?

If you’ve ever broken up w/someone and then changed your mind, what specific event caused you to do so? Why did you break up w/them in the 1st place?

There is definitely truth to the saying “exes are exes for a reason”. My first ex and I were discussing marriage and I realized suddenly that even though I loved him, the life I saw with him was not one that I wanted. Needless to say we broke up and got back together many times over a 5 year period. At some point you just have to realize that it is not working and not going to. I’m glad I did.

    me and my ex broke up.
    and for like a month after that i still wanted him back.
    i was never “in love” with him.
    but he was really cool.
    i moved on quickly.
    and while i always thought of him
    i didnt mind messing or dating other guys.

    Yes, me and my XGF used to break up and get back together all the time.. We had lots of fights mostly little stuff, but also big stuff, she cheated on me once, although she denied it, and I made out with a girl while we were in a fight. But we loved each other so much and we kept going back with each other. But after like 6 months, and constant fights, I told her I had enough and we broke up permanently… Strange enough, we’re talking again after 1.5 years and she’s getting married to some dude.. So we’re just friends now.
